Although you're correct, Andy, everyone needs to lay out a base scenario and how to act on it. No one has a crystal ball and can foresee the future, but I find it helpful to have a strategy and adjust decisions based on incoming data and events. Yet, I fear I have to disagree regarding the diversified portfolio. Playing the cycles will be much more critical than during times when stocks only went up, like the last thirty years.
